tsubame

The Japan Rail Pass is a special ticket that is available only to travelers visiting Japan from foreign countries for sight-seeing or if you are a Japanese national living in a foreign country who is qualified to live permanently in that country, or who is married to a non-Japanese residing in a country other than Japan. This ticket is not available for purchase in Japan so you must buy your ticket before you travel.
The Japan Rail Pass allows you unlimited travel on all JR trains across Japan including the Shinkansen Bullet Trains (except Nozomi). We can also arrange regional passes (JR-West, JR-Hokkaido, JR Kyushu). Please contact us for prices.
If you purchase a Japan Railpass with us we will give you an English Timetable for whole Japan for free!

arrowIf you pay by Visa, MasterCard, Diners, JCB or Amex there will be a 3% surcharge. Debit cards are accepted free of charge so we'd rather you used a debit card or pay cash to give you more money to spend in Japan!

arrowOn arriving in Japan your JR Pass Exchange Order can be exchanged for a JR Pass at most major stations including both terminals of Tokyo Narita International Airport and Osaka Kansai International Airport.

arrowJR Pass Exchange Orders are valid for 3 months from the date of issue so we cannot issue Exchange Orders more than 3 months before the date you first want to use them.

arrowThere will be an issuing charge of 20CHF per JR Pass.

arrowIf you buy the JR Pass together with an airticket the 20CHF issuing charge won't be charged.

arrowDue to currency fluctuations, the exchange rate is recalculated on the 1st of every month so prices can change.

arrowIn case of cancellation 10% of the ticket price will be deducted and the issuing charge will not be reimbursed. There will also be a 20CHF cancellation charge.
